The Health and Human Services Agency offers an array of services, from food assistance and employment training, to counseling and immunizations. The Children's Services Branch provides services to support children’s safety and mental well being.
The Adult Services Branch focuses on a variety of issues that typically impact people 18 years of age or older.
The Public Health Branch focuses on community-wide prevention of communicable disease, chronic disease, injury, substance abuse, suicide prevention and the prevention of Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACE).
The Economic Mobility Branch provides services to our customers in the neighborhoods where they live.

What We Do:
♦ Coordinating public/private child abuse prevention efforts in Shasta County.
♦ Enhancing the range of opportunities offered to strengthen communities and families.
♦ Providing public information, education, and professional development regarding child abuse, child neglect and their prevention.
♦ Offering meaning engagement opportunities for youth such as our teen centers, Camp HOPE - Pathways and life skills.
♦ Advocating for the improvement and expansion of quality services related to the prevention and treatment of child abuse and neglect.
♦ Collaborating with other Child Abuse Prevention Councils at local, regional, state, and national levels to achieve mutually determined objectives.
